I like to think there is some magic in the creative process. A conjuring of the creative spark that ignites the creation of solutions for people's everyday problems. My favorite part of this conjuring is the research, the first gasps of ideas yet to exist. Alien ideas that are native to different brains and travel across sketches and doodles without restrictions within ideation sessions.
However, the best kept secret of industrial design is that this magic will remain invisible to the user throughout the lifetime of the product. Therefore, I gladly try to translate this magic into experiences that may solve the users' pains.
I'm a senior Industrial design student based in Monterrey, Mexico, currently a design intern at John Deere Industries. I have participated in projects with different institutions, organizations, and professionals like:  an art museum and science museum, a jewelry store,  a local community center, an international research program, a houseware product catalog store, an ONG for pregnant women in vulnerable situations, and a world-renowned Mexican industrial designer.
One of my main hobbies is painting, and learning about rendering.

I'm a huge fan of sci-fi and dystopian movies and series.
This is some fan art stuff I've made:
On my spare time I like to learn new stuff. Lately I've been learning Japanese kanji and getting a grasp of Arduino. So, I've been working on code for an interactive keychain that helps you study them anywhere. This is how it's going so far...
Also during the COVID-19 pandemic I've been coordinating a social project for Vifac Monterrey (an ONG that aids pregnant women in vulnerable situations).
My team and I gathered resources to install within the center a small cultural space for these women (about 30 women) and their children (about 15 kids aged 0-6 y.o.)
You may find more insights on the project here.
Oh, and this is a pretty chill Spotify playlist in
Spanish that inspires me when I'm designing.
I hope you enjoy it as much as me:)
